The Children's Savate classes are offered
for boys and girls ages 4 - 12* and
focus on Discipline, Confidence, Focus and Self-Control
as well as learning the basic fist and foot techniques.
Warm-up exercises, including jumping rope, help
children burn some of their extra energy and instill the
habit of regular cardiovascular exercise. Drills to learn
the punching and kicking techniques build confidence and
teach basic self-defense skills that can be invaluable as
children grow up. Moreover, the classes are FUN and a
chance to make new friends!
*Adolescents, starting at age 13, can
participate in the adult classes.
